Bill Cummins, Senior Pastor. Pastor Bill is the Senior Pastor and has a unique teaching style that combines humor and truth with compelling insights into God’s Word. The Sunday messages feel more like conversations than sermons, inviting listeners to join him on the journey to discover God’s purpose and passion for their lives. Pastor Bill is also heavily in involved in our community. He currently serves on the Lodi Planning Commission and is a Chaplain for the Lodi Police Department. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Stockton YMCA and Lodi Memorial Hospital. Pastor Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Taylor University and a Master of Arts degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. Before founding Bear Creek Community Church in 1989 he pastored in Michigan and planted churches in India. Pastor Bill is married to Dotti, who partners with him in the ministry. They have three grown sons and six grandchildren.
                                                                    
Jebby Moates, Worship & Drama Pastor. Pastor Jebby joined our church staff as our Pastor of Worship & Drama in the fall of 2006. Pastor Jebby brings a rich background in leading worship and drama. He has written several original musical dramas as well as worship songs. A number of cd’s of his songs and works have been released. Pastor Jebby has over twenty years of worship leading experience. He is married to Ronda who serves alongside him in our Drama Ministry. They have two sons, Garrett, a college student, and Graeme, a talented teen guitar player.

George Liepart, Associate Pastor. Pastor George joined our church staff as our Associate Pastor of Family Life in June of 2008. He brings with him a entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the gifts of encouragement, leadership and administration. Pastor George has a passion to see marriages and families strengthened, healed, and restored. Pastor George’s ability to connect people to Jesus as well as each other enables him to oversee and enhance our Small Group Ministry. Pastor George is married to Lisbet who shares a like passion for marriages and families. They have taught courses in marriage, parenting and personal finance. They are the proud parents of three children, George IV a college student, Aaron a high school student & Karly a junior high student.



Emmett Padilla, Youth Pastor. Pastor Emmett originally joined our church in 2003 with the ability to minister in both English and Spanish, his humorous, dynamic and engaging style of preaching has equipped him to transcend cultural and age differences. This very ability opened up an opportunity for Pastor Emmett to come alongside a local Spanish ministry in the Lodi area to serve as their Youth Pastor. After spending two years with this local church, Pastor Emmett was called back to Bear Creek Church to serve as our Interim High School Pastor. Pastor Emmett, who was ordained in 2002, believes the best in people and is committed to helping them discover how they can live life through the abundance of the Gods grace and the gift of righteousness. His desire is to help this generation of believers understand the new covenant of grace and realize how greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved they are by their heavenly Father. Pastor Emmett is deeply devoted to his wife Deanne who supports and partners with him in Ministry. They together have five grown children and six delightful grandchildren.


Bobby Spencer, Sunday Evening Pastor. Pastor Bobby joined our church staff first as our Youth Pastor in June of 2008Bobby Spencer, Sunday Evening Pastor Pastor Bobby, joined our church staff first as our Youth Pastor in June of 2008, and then as our Sunday Evening Pastor in October of 2010. He served as a Ministry Training School teacher for new ministers, and developed training materials for equipping ministry students. Pastor Bobby is also a musician with a rich background as a Praise & Worship Leader.
     Pastor Bobby attended the University of Alabama. He is a certified fitness professional and is a much sought after speaker/presenter to area schools, youth groups, churches, on fitness, wellness and health-related issues.
     He is married to Camilla, who partners with him as our Evening Worship Team Ministry Leader. They have three children, Jessica, Cristen and Bronson.
